Security forces on Monday launched a cordon and searchoperation (CASO) in Bankoot village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Reports said that a joint team of army, CRPF, and specialoperations group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off Bankoot village.
The search operation in the area was going on, however, itwas not immediately known whether the area was seized following the inputsregarding the militants or it was a routine check.
